There’s nothing quite like biting into a fresh slice of heirloom tomato or making a salad from greens you just harvested in your community garden plot. After growing fruits and veggies for many years at a market garden scale, we know which varieties are best suited to producing abundance in the Willamette Valley. We love good food, and we want you to grow it successfully! Featuring veggies from spring greens to early tomatoes to heat-loving hot peppers, a wide variety of culinary herbs, and a selection of fruit-bearing trees and shrubs.

For healing

Cultivating plant medicine is a remarkably healing practice in itself. Getting to know the smells, textures, and fine details of healing plants creates a lasting bond and intimate awareness of the magnificence of the plant kingdom. In propagating them for you, we strive to honor these plants and the peoples that have stewarded them over millennia. Offering dozens of common western European herbs, as well as several native plants traditionally stewarded in local Kalapuya practices. We encourage you to practice plant medicine with patience, humility, and respect.

For pollinators

Sunflower bee

In addition to the beloved honeybee, there are over 400 species of bees native to Oregon, as well as dozens of species of hummingbirds, moths, and butterflies. Growing plants with flowers suited to pollinators- whether specific species or a range of generalists- is one of the best ways to foster healthy ecosystems in our spaces and reduce the impacts of habitat loss for these species. Every flower counts when you’re teeny! We offer native and non-native plants that provide pollen, nectar, and foliar habitat for these often unassuming heroes of the garden.
